Encik Ahmad Adzha Kasmuni
Encik Ahmad Adzha Kasmuni is a founder member and the Executive Chairman of Mentor Solutions and Resources Sdn. Bhd., a role he took in 2007. As a leader of the company, he has been instrumental in the growth and development of the establishment and is mainly responsible for the overall strategic business direction of the company. He is also the director of other Mentor subsidiary companies i.e. Mentor Facilities Management Sdn. Bhd., Mentor Project Management Sdn. Bhd. and Mentor Turnaround Management Sdn. Bhd.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom and has also attended the Advanced Management Program at Insead, France. He has worked over 24 years in PETRONAS Group of companies, holding various technical and senior managerial positions.
He started his career with Lembaga Letrik Negara (LLN) in 1974. While in LLN, he held various positions, namely Assistant Construction Engineer, Assistant Operation Engineer, Operation Engineer and Maintenance Engineer. He joined PETRONAS in 1982 as the Maintenance Manager of PETRONAS Penapisan.
In 1991, he assumed the position of Project Manager of Malaysia LNG Dua Sdn. Bhd. and subsequently was appointed as the Senior General Manager of Malaysia LNG Dua Plant Division in 1996, prior to his last position as the Senior General Manager of the Technical Services Division of PETRONAS from 2003 until 2006.
He was also on the Board of several PETRONAS subsidiaries and held the position of the Chairman of the Board of OGP Technical Services Sdn. Bhd. and PETRONAS Research and Scientific Services Sdn. Bhd.
Encik Ibrahim Johari
Ibrahim Johari graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Mara in 1978 and later obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Gas Engineering from the Institute of Gas Technology, Chicago, USA in 1980. Later in 1997, he attended Advanced Management Program at Stanford University, USA and University of Singapore.
He is the co-founder-cum-Executive Director of Mentor Solutions and Resources Sdn. Bhd. Besides developing the company’s business corporate strategy and strategic alliance with other specialized technical service provider, he is also responsible for the implementation of projects, as well as monitoring and spearheading the accelerated technical capability development programs.
He is also a Board Member of Mentor Facilities Management Sdn. Bhd., Mentor Project Management Sdn. Bhd. and Mentor Turnaround Management Sdn. Bhd. After his retirement from PETRONAS, he was engaged by PetroChina as their Project Advisor and Subject Matter Expert on pipeline construction and operations for one and a half years based in Beijing, China.
Ibrahim Johari has well over 30 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Besides managing plant operations and production, pipeline projects and operations, he has invaluable overseas work experience arising from his work attachments with Stamicarbon BV, Holland and Nova Corporation, Canada. He started his career with PETRONAS in 1979 as a Mechanical/Gas Engineer in the construction of PETRONAS first Gas Processing Plant (GPP) and gas pipeline network. Upon completion of GPP project in 1984, he was appointed the Operation Manager and later Senior Manager, Transmission Operation in 1990. He was promoted to the position of General Manager/Project Director of Phase III of the Peninsular Gas Utilisation Project in 1994. Ensuing this, in 1996, he was made the Managing Director of PETRONAS Methanol (Labuan) Sdn. Bhd. where he was responsible for the revamping of the Methanol Plant before being appointed as the General Manager of Transmission Operation Division, PETRONAS Gas Bhd. a public listed company, in 1999. During his service years with PETRONAS, he was also a Board Member of other PETRONAS subsidiaries, including Gas Supply (Labuan) Sdn. Bhd. and PetroFiber Sdn. Bhd. until his retirement in 2005.
Encik Abdul Aziz Ishak
Abdul Aziz Ishak serves as another Executive Director of Mentor Solutions & Resources Sdn. Bhd., which he co-founded with the other two directors. Besides overseeing the company’s legal and financial management, he is also responsible for the company’s corporate strategy and new business development, as well as corporate governance.
He also sits on the Board of the following companies:

Abdul Aziz Ishak is a naval architect by profession. He graduated from the University of Glasgow, Scotland in Naval Architecture and Ocean in 1981. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania, USA in 1999.
He began his career with Blue Funnel Line Ltd. in Liverpool, England in 1971 and later joined Orient Lloyd Sdn. Bhd. prior to joining Penang Port Commission as a Naval Architect/Planning Engineer in 1981. He joined PETRONAS in 1983 as an Executive and later was the Section Head in the Marine Department. In his ensuing years in PETRONAS, he is involved in marine operations and terminals, ship building projects, shipping management and operations and port management, including two overseas postings to take charge of the LNG shipping construction project and operations in France and Japan respectively. He has held senior management positions in PETRONAS group of companies including the Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS Tankers Sdn. Bhd. as well as being the Senior General Manager, Fleet Management Division, MISC Bhd., and a public listed company which currently owns and operates the world’s largest fleet of LNG ships. Prior to his retirement in 2007, he was the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS Maritime Group of Companies.
During his years in PETRONAS, he was also a Board Member of numerous PETRONAS subsidiaries and associate companies. These include Malaysia Shipyard and Engineering Sdn. Bhd., Malaysian Maritime Academy Sdn. Bhd., Asia LNG Transport Sdn. Bhd., Asia LNG Transport (Dua) Sdn. Bhd., Sanzbury Stead Sdn. Bhd., Puteri Intan Sdn. Bhd. and North Port Corporation Bhd. (as an alternate Director).
